This unique piece features tamarisk wood from Moab, Utah and an inlay of R. melanophthalma (green rock posy) lichen from the Colorado Rockies. Both tamarisk and lichen demonstrate that the health of our ecosystems depend on partnerships between species— and remind us that we are an inextricable partner. This pendant measures 1 1/8” at its largest points. It hangs from 17” of tripled brown nylon tuff cord adorned with beautiful smokey blue glass beads. it secures with a nickel-free silver lobster clasp.
