Nebulous, Yet Rooted Fir Necklace

70.00

This beautiful necklace is made from a Douglas fir root, which I gathered from a giant felled tree that is now serving the forest as a nurse log in the Cascade Mountains. This piece features a unique inlay of Rhizoplaca chrysoleuca lichen from the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, helping to accentuate the root’s beautiful caramel grain with its sage-green and orange hues.

This pendant measures 3/4” wide by 1” tall at its largest points. It hangs from 18” of tripled steel grey beading cord adorned with faceted amber-colored beads and secures with a nickel-free stainless steel lobster clasp.
